A Different Kind of Summer

Help provide a scholarship and gift a fantastic summer experience

Have a child who likes exploring the outdoors? Is interested in riding their bike? Want them to learn about the environment and have a blast with new friends?

If they are between ages 10 and 14 and a beginning to intermediate cyclist, then this camp is for them! We'll provide just the right amount of "Oomph!" for the youth to challenge themselves while learning and having a blast.

Bikes and Barnyards Summer Camp is an opportunity for young people to learn and practice lessons in leadership, health, and wellness. We work to give each child the chance to experience achievement and environmental stewardship.

The 2020 Summer Bike Camp takes place during the first week after school lets out and is about as much fun as you can possibly have.

We’ll meet at 08:45 AM and begin learning by 9:00 AM. Then we’ll wrap up the day and ready for pickup at 4:45 PM. Except for Thursday night! That’s when we’ll spend the night in the park and camp under the stars.

This year the summer camp will operate exclusively from the Triangle Bikeworks' offices in Carrboro.

In the last summer camp
