Today was not a great day!
Let me start off by saying that, so far, we've managed to out bike Tropical Storm Barry. We left New Orleans the day before much of it flooded and were well on our way to Baton Rouge when we discovered what was happening. We hope that people can stay safe and as lucky as we've been.
The teens are having a fantastic time. The first day of tour hurt me just as much as they when we completed 50 miles. My body wasn't ready to face headwinds. Miserable day, miserable evening for all. But the campsite was fantastic! We spent the night in the lap of luxury with our stay at the Tickfaw State Park group site with a cabin all to ourselves! Bunks that fit everyone and a kitchen to serve everyone. Best camp experience ever!
